criteria
The admission to the various bachelor’s
courses in hotel management is based on the hotel management entrance exam. The
selection in the various courses is based on NCHMCT JEE conducted in the
month of April. The application for the same is out in the month December.
Apart from this there are various others hotel management entrance exam,
conducted by the big hotel chains for admission in the own training institutes.

IHMs have on an average ₹40,000 - ₹45,000 per semester fee.

Careers Prospects
The current state of hotel
industry shows that India is being seen as a lucrative destination for hotel
chains looking for growth. According to the World Travel and Tourism Council,
India is 18th popular business travel destination and in next couple of years
it would in top five. With shortage of hotel rooms, dearth of trained hotel
management professionals, a lot needs to be done. With incentives coming from
the Government of India, real estate developers and hoteliers are trying to
build new hotels which would further the supply and increase the job opportunities
