Beatboxing is a form of vocal percussion which produces the sound of drum beats, rhythm, and musical sounds using one’s mouth, lips, tongue, and voice.
The great thing about beatboxing is that it is about you. There are no set beats you need to learn apart from that basic pattern. Originality is what makes beatboxing fun and innovative. Don't get people to write beats for you. You'll discover that there is more satisfaction in spitting a beat you have worked out for yourself.

Steps to become a beatboxer anywhere in India:
1.      Learn the sounds
To begin with you need to learn how to make sounds using your voice. You can start with learning the basic sounds of
Ø  { B } Classic Kick Drum
Ø  { t } Closed Hi-hat
Ø  { Pf } Classic Snare Drum
2.       Put the sounds into a beat pattern
Once you have mastered the sounds you need to put the sounds into a pattern. Start with the following simple beat pattern:
{ B t Pf t / B t Pf t }
This beat is kind of like the backbone for all beginner beatboxers.
Listen to your favourite songs (or any songs for that matter) and try to follow the beat.
3.       Learn some covers and experiment
It's easier to pick songs you know and like, and any genre can be covered: dance, rock, punk, heavymetal, rnb, hip-hop, grunge, etc. Use your imagination. It's all about listening to what you hear and replicating it. Imitate, then create!

Educational Requirements
Technically, a career in beatboxing does not require any sort of formal education, but only a strong vocal cord and creativity.
Most beatboxers learn the tricks from youtube videos and workshops organised by the pros. Various national and international competitions, organised from time to time, also give the required exposure.

Pay Packet
There are few ways by you can make money using your beatboxing art.
Ø  Make your youtube channel and upload your tutorial videos or freestyle techniques, averaging 4 USD a day
Ø  You can also make your website, write blogs about beatboxing techniques. You can earn by advertisement.
Ø  Try to take part in college fest and other beatboxing competitions, they have winning prizes.
Ø  Last but not the least! You can perform on the streets. If people like your art they will give you some money
