Job Responsibilities
A wedding planner is a valuable asset in the planning and execution phases of their couples special events. Wedding planners may work alone or with the help of an assistant or staff. Job responsibilities vary by client and contracted assignment.
Wedding planners are responsible for a myriad of tasks including interviewing and hiring vendors, selecting and ordering materials, negotiating rates, coordinating the sequence of events, following up with guests and vendors and producing full-scale events.

Qualification
There are no set qualifications to become a wedding planner. Although education in hospitality, business, event management or public relations can be helpful. Many have no formal education and learn on the job. They move into wedding planning from working in events, hospitality or catering.

Undoubtedly Wedding Planning industry has taken a great flight over the years and is believed to be increasing in leaps and bounds. Wedding planners ensure that the vision of the bride and groom is executed in the most beautiful way and take care of every minute detail. People these days want everything to be perfect and don’t like to take the burden of everything. The growing needs and demands of people have increased the scope and job opportunities in this field with great exposure.

Income
A wedding planner can earn from ₹ 50,000 to ₹ 50,00,000 per month. It can go up or down depending upon the number and budget and also services provided by the wedding planners.
